Outdoor sculptures

Outdoor sculptures, whether situated near a building, in a square, or in a park, demand special care and attention.

Exposed in public space

Unlike indoor artworks, outdoor sculptures are continuously exposed to various elements such as sunlight, precipitation, and temperature fluctuations. They also face potential damage from external factors like bicycles, dogs, or graffiti.

Maintenance and restoration

Outdoor sculptures are designed for durability and can endure for many years with routine maintenance. However, after 15 to 20 years, they often require more extensive care. This may include applying a new coat of paint to painted metal sculptures or adding an extra top coat to works made of glass-fiber-reinforced polyester.
