On Leaving: Contemporary Artists' Estates and Legacies

Taking place in Maastricht from 19 to 21 March 2026. This edition of the annual MACCH conference focuses on emerging networks of care around contemporary artists’ estates and legacies and is organized in collaboration with MERIAN (Maastricht Experimental Research in and through the Arts Network).
SRAL director Lydia Beerkens will give a lecture on friday on The Gerard Caris Estate:
Echoes from the Eighties: The Gerard Caris Estate as a time capsule in the dutch art scene.

Registration

Attendance at the conference requires registration. Attendees are invited to register in advance via Aanmelder (see link in the pink block at the top right).
Registration fees vary according to ticket type and contribute to the organization of the conference. Please note that places may be limited, and early registration is recommended.
