As part of the heritage weekend, SRAL is organizing a public activity on Saturday 11th of December in the Bonnefanten. During the opening hours of the museum (from 11:00 to 17:00), SRAL will present in three lectures different aspects of art conservation and heritage management. How do you treat historical textile banners, what can a conservator do about yellowed varnishes and what role does the artist play in preserving his own work or his legacy?
There are lectures at 11:30, 13:30 and 15:30 - each lecture lasts approximately 30 minutes and there is time for questions. The lectures are in Dutch.
Meet-and-Greet
Additionally, at 12:30, 14:30 and 16:30 you get the possibility to look over the shoulders of our conservator in the restoration studio. English and Dutch! Registration is required for this (see links below).
